Kerry’s work is truly exceptional. She is such a talented, detail-oriented, and professional photographer while also being very approachable and comfortable to work with. She ran with our wild ideas and had many of her own, capturing all the magic of our wedding day. She weaved among the crowd nearly unseen, capturing all the candid expressions of our guests. She was enthusiastic about our wedding, from the details to the big moments, and took it as seriously as we did, while having fun! Kerry is truly a gem to the Perth area and we were lucky to have her.

There is something so human about this wedding and its relaxed atmosphere… I will let the day speak for itself in my images. PHOTOGRAPHY: Kerry Ford Photography DRESS SHOP: Renewed With Love SUIT SHOP: RW&CO. HAIR & MAKE-UP: Perth Parkside Inn & Spa FLORALS, DECOR, FOOD, STATIONARY, AND MORE: DIY

Goin’ to the chapel and we’re gonna get married… The epitome of Summer. Looking through this collection of photographs you can feel the sensations of Summer. The green grass, the warm air, soft breeze, and sun-kissed views from every angle… This story is sure to take your Winter-time blues away.

Ellen and Jeff had a beautiful, large wedding planned for the Summer of 2020 at a lovely venue on the outskirts of Perth, Ontario called “EcoTay”. A lovely rustic venue set overlooking hay fields and sunsets! Enter the COVID-19 pandemic that affected us all so greatly. They quickly realized their plans had to be altered…

She danced down the aisle handing out flowers, they jumped into the Big Rideau after signing their paperwork, she made homemade epic tacos that we all ate under the stars that took way longer than expected to prepare (like 2 hours longer haha). We laughed, we cried. There was no stress, we were on island…

When more then half of your wedding guests fly from as far as Australia and several other countries… It shows how valued you are by others. After spending the day with these two, I too can understand why.

This small garden wedding can remind us all to relax a little and find beauty in the simple things. Whether it be the laid-back “no fluff” cottage vibe, down-to-earth standing ceremony, or buffet-style dinner on the back deck as the sun sets; the memories from this wonderful little gathering is sure to be cherished by everyone present for years to come as the Friday evening we spent at the cottage with Ashley & Dino.
